Can’t Drive A Stick Shift?
No Problem, We have Automatic Transmission Stock Cars and Slingshots!

DO I NEED TO PICK A DATE WHEN I PURCHASE?

CAN GUESTS COME ALONG TO THE RACETRACK?

  • Yes, we have a free area just behind the pit lane for them to watch. Or you can purchase a grandstand pass for your spectators to get a better view. We encourage you to bring your friends and family to share in the experience.  If you choose not to purchase a grandstand pass, we suggest bringing folding chairs for your comfort. Tailgating in our parking area is permitted. For our driving experiences, your time at the track can be up to 3 hours from start to finish.

WHAT TYPE OF CAR WILL I DRIVE/RIDE IN?

  • These are real NASCAR style stock cars like the big boys drive on Sunday.
  • Our cars are Ford, Chevy, and Toyota.
  • The majority of our stock cars are equipped with manual transmissions. We also have several stock cars equipped with Automatic transmissions.

  • Cars will be assigned by height and weight; we will make you as comfortable as possible.

WHAT ARE THE PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS; DO I NEED PRIOR RACING EXPERIENCE?

  • No, you do not need prior racing experience to participate in our driving experiences, only a valid Driver’s License. We offer both Manual and Automatic Transmission stock cars.
  • Our participants range in age from 14 to 90. Many are NASCAR Fans, people that like to drive fast, or people that seek a little thrill in their lives.
  • Age Requirements
    • To participate in our driving program, you must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
    • To participate in our ride program, you must be 14 years of age and have both parents present.
    • (Under 18 (14-17) both parents must sign a minor waiver/release form. If only one parent is coming to the racetrack, the other must sign the form and have their signature notarized. Please make sure to print the form on a color printer. The red text must be in red on the notarized waiver.
  • Size Requirements. All participants must be in relative good health and able to enter and exit the car on their own through a window opening
    • 15″ high x 30″ wide and 36″ off the ground.
    • Size limitations may apply:
      • Drivers Only: Maximum Height 6’5″ – Minimum Height 5’0 / Weight 300 lbs.
      • Ride Alongs Only: Maximum Height 6’4″ / Weight 300 lbs. (No minimum Height)
      • If you’re over the limits of the size requirements, please email ian@877stockcar.com, as some participants over the limits can fit.
  • There will be no refund due to a student’s inability to fit in the race car unless you have received written pre-authorization.
  • The majority of our stock cars are equipped with manual transmissions. We also have several stock cars equipped with Automatic transmissions.

WHAT IS PROVIDED & WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

  • Sneakers/ closed-toe shoes are required. Dress for the weather, shorts, and a T-shirt can be worn under the driving suit in warmer weather.
  • Everything you need- helmets, driving suits, and HANS devices are provided.
  • Participants wishing to bring their own helmet and suit will be permitted. The helmet must be SA2015 with hans device clips and the suit must be at least a SFI 3.2A/1 rating single layer.

CAN I CHOOSE THE CAR THAT I WILL DRIVE?

  • You may request a specific car on the day of your program and we will make every attempt to accommodate you.

HOW DO THE DRIVE PROGRAMS WORK?

  • You will go through a Classroom session, Racecar, and Racetrack orientation, and your Driver’s Meeting before you get behind the wheel.
  • You will be able to drive at higher speeds each lap depending upon your own ability.
  • You will follow a lead instructor and learn the correct racing line by following 4 car lengths behind the lead car.

HOW DO THE RIDE PROGRAMS WORK?

  • There is no instruction needed, you will be fitted for your safety gear and hit the racetrack!

WHAT KIND OF TRACK IS POCONO RACEWAY?

  • Pocono Raceway is a 2.5 mile tri-oval superspeedway. With its three different corners and three different straights, it makes for one great racetrack for you to drive on. (See the Pocono Raceway Website)

WHERE DO I GO WHEN I ARRIVE AT POCONO RACEWAY

  • You will enter the race track through gate #1 (infield tunnel entrance). Once you are signed in by the guard, you will be directed to follow the signs to our parking area. If you are doing a Ride-Along, please proceed to our ride registration trailer. It is located just behind pit lane. If you are participating in one of our driving experiences, please proceed to our driver’s classroom for registration. located just outside the pedestrian exit of our parking area. CAN I PURCHASE FOOD & BEVERAGES AT THE TRACK/CAN I BRING MY OWN?

  • Yes, you can bring your own and a concession stand will be open for your convenience.

CAN I USE A GOPRO/ACTION CAMERA IN THE RACE CAR?

  • No, for safety and liability reasons we do not allow external cameras in the race cars. We have hard-mounted In-Car Video Systems in all race cars and you will have the option to purchase that video.

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

  • Bookings are not refundable due to inclement weather postponement. Inclement weather may cause our decision for you to reschedule to a new date. We will make every effort to run all scheduled sessions. We will run on a delay if possible. Unless you have received notification of postponement from us by email or phone call please arrive as scheduled or you will be considered a no-show. In the event that we have to postpone due to weather, your booking will be Rain Checked and placed on hold and you will have one year from your originally booked date to reschedule and complete your experience. Refunds will not be issued. StockCar Racing Experience is not responsible for any travel expenses incurred by changes beyond our control. This is an outdoor event and Mother Nature is completely out of everyone’s control, so please keep that in mind when planning your day with us.
    • How/when would I be notified?
      You will be notified either in person, by email, or by phone call as soon as our decision is made to postpone/Rain Check your experience. Postponement decisions are often made in real time based on actual weather conditions. We try to make decisions before you arrive, but the need to postpone may happen at the track in person.

ARE RESERVATIONS REQUIRED?

  • Advance booking is required for our Drive Experiences. We almost always sell out of Drive Experiences, we recommend booking at least a month ahead of the date you’re interested in. You may view availability and make your reservation online or by phone at 877-786-2522. Advance booking is also suggested for Ride Along Experiences.
  • Walk-ins welcome, subject to availability, please call 1-877-786-2522.

CAN I RESCHEDULE OR SEND A SUBSTITUTION?

  • You may not reschedule within 30 days of your reserved date. If for some reason you cannot attend on your reserved date, you may send a substitution at no additional charge.
  • You may reschedule up to 30 days prior to your reserved date with a $75.00 administrative fee for all Drive Programs and a $35.00 administrative fee for all Ride Programs.

We love driving these Slingshots and hope you feel the same. For this reason, we have no limit on mileage. Feel free to explore the beautiful Pocono Mountains with no restrictions!

ARE INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED ON HOW TO OPERATE THE SLINGSHOT?

  • Yes, we will go over all Polaris Slingshot vehicle operations to assure you are comfortable before heading out on the open road.
  • You must obey all traffic signals and the laws of the road. SRE Schools Inc. reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER WILL BE PROVIDED WITH A FULL FACE DOT APPROVED HELMET:

  • You may bring your own FULL-FACE DOT-approved helmets.

WHAT TO WEAR AND BRING:

We suggest dressing for the weather as if you were to be riding a motorcycle. We highly recommend sunglasses, hats, and sunblock since you’ll be basking in the open air with the Polaris Slingshots open cockpit design. Any personal items may be kept in lockable storage compartments behind both seats and in the glove box. Bring your own FULL-FACE DOT-approved helmets if you have them. We also recommend bringing a USB cable to connect your phone to the Slingshot for charging and streaming audio to the stereo.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • You must be at least 25 years of age and have a current, valid driver’s license.
  • Passenger minimum age is 10 and must be able to grasp handholds and firmly plant their feet on the floor with their back fully against the seat backrest. Minor passengers must be accompanied by a Parent or Legal Guardian over the age of 25.
  • We have a total of 10 Automatic Transmission and 2 Manual Transmission Slingshots. You will choose your rental vehicles transmission type at the time of booking.
  • You are required to purchase Rental Insurance at a cost of $25 per vehicle. There is a $750 damage deductible on the insurance policy so you are required to provide a credit card for a $750 Temporary Authorization/Hold(NOT a charge) as a security deposit while you have the vehicle.
  • If you choose Manual Transmission, we reserve the right to refuse service with no refund if you cannot show adequate ability in driving a manual transmission.
  • No motorcycle endorsement is required to operate in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • *You may only operate the rental vehicle in the state of Pennsylvania and within a 50-mile radius of our rental office. All of our vehicles have GPS tracking, we can see where you go and how fast you get there. 

ARE THESE GUIDED TOURS?

  • No, but we do provide suggested routes to get the most out of your rental time. When you leave with your rental it’s your choice where you go. Within the state of Pennsylvania and within a 50-mile radius of our office.
  • For your convenience, we have created some great scenic routes for you to enjoy the Pocono Mountains. To view our routes please Click Here. Our Suggested Routes are readily available in Google Maps for your convenience, QR codes for each map are included in the glove box of every vehicle for you to access with your cell phone. We recommend bringing a USB cable to connect your phone to the stereo to stream audio. Bluetooth wireless phone connection is also an option for streaming audio. Apple Carplay & Andriod Auto are not available.

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • You are required to purchase state-mandated minimum liability insurance from Polaris (our insurance provider) prior to taking the rental vehicle. The $25 insurance cost is not included in the rental cost.
  • The cost for this is $25.00 per vehicle and is not included in the rental rate. The base coverage provided is:
    • 15,000/for any one individual
    • 30,000/for the total accident, regardless of the number of persons
    • 5,000/for property damage
  • All coverage and waivers are subject to the terms and conditions of the rental contract and do not include coverage for property, personal or otherwise, or damage as a result of negligence on the part of the renter or passenger for any illegal use of the Slingshot or its use under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • PA Uninsured/Underinsured motorist coverage is not available and is not covered under this policy.
  • The Rental Insurance policy has a $750 damage deductible, therefore we will place a temporary authorization/hold on a credit card in the amount of $750.
  • If you are ill, sick, or on any prescription or over-the-counter medication you cannot operate our Slingshot.
  • Keep in mind you are responsible for the operation of your rental.
  • If damage is incurred to the vehicle during your rental, you may be charged for downtime until the vehicle can be properly repaired for the next rental. This downtime charge will be at our 24hr rate for each day the vehicle is down. These charges are over and above the $750 damage deposit.
  • Rental rules must be acknowledged and adhered to at all times

SECURITY DEPOSIT

  • The day before your rental we will authorize your credit card for $750. (We do not accept American Express for the $750 authorization.)
  • This is a way to make sure the funds are available and can be drawn from your account in the case of damage to the Slingshot during your rental, due to the $750 insurance deductible.
  • Providing no damage is done the full $750 will be released back to your account after the rental return check-in is complete.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The customer is responsible for fuel and any applicable taxes. (Only use 91-octane or higher gasoline to fuel the vehicle).
  • Please bring the Slingshot back with a full tank of gas. If you do not there will be a $50 fueling surcharge.
  • You will be responsible for any moving violations and/or tolls incurred during your rental period.
  • You are responsible for all costs associated with returning the rental vehicle on time.
  • You may only operate the rental vehicle in the state of Pennsylvania and within a 50-mile radius of our rental office. All of our vehicles have GPS tracking, we can see where you go and how fast you get there. 
  • By going outside a 50-mile radius of our office or the state of Pennsylvania you are breaching your rental and insurance agreement and you are 100% responsible for all costs associated with returning the vehicle back to the rental office on time. These costs are over and above the $750 damage deposit as the terms of the rental and insurance agreement would no longer be valid.
  • There is a 457 lb load capacity for Polaris Slingshots. Please make sure you and your passenger do not exceed this limit.

 RATES AND FEES

  • Reservations are based on availability.
  • There will be no refunds for unused time.
  • Towing is not covered.
  • The renter and one additional driver are included in the rental price. Any additional drivers listed on the rental agreement will be $25 per person.
  • Two full face DOT approved helmet rentals are included in the rental price.

 CANCELLATIONS/RESCHEDULING

Rescheduling

  • No rescheduling within 72 hours of the originally reserved date.
  • 72 hours or more out from the originally reserved date you may reschedule at no additional charge. Based on the availability of your new date choice.

Cancellations           

Within 30 days of the original purchase date.

  • You can cancel your reservation up to 72 hours out from your reserved date/time and receive a refund less a $75 administration fee.
  • Within 72 hours of your reserved date, there are no cancellations or refunds.

Outside 30 days of the original purchase date.

  • No refunds. No exceptions.

RAIN POLICY

  • On the day of your rental, if it is raining and you do not leave with the Slingshot rental we will allow you to reschedule at no additional cost. No refunds will be issued due to rain/inclement weather.
  • We are not responsible and do not prorate any Slingshot rentals. If you drive the Slingshot and inclement weather causes any loss of rental time for you there are no refunds or credits.

 WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

  • Please see Cancellation Policy or Gift Voucher Policy.

 RETURNS

  1. Late returns will be charged a $140 late fee per unit if the vehicle is brought back up to one hour late of check-in. A late fee of $240 per unit will be charged if the vehicle is brought back up to two hours late for check-in. After two full hours late, the late fee will be a full-day rental charge.
  2. Any loss of use incurred from being late is the responsibility of the renter and will be charged accordingly.
  3. We reserve the right to report a vehicle stolen to the appropriate authorities if it is not returned at the date and time indicated in this agreement. Please call if you are running late! (charges will still apply).
  4. Any damages to the vehicle must be reported immediately, and an incident report must be filed with PA State Police.
  5. Fuel the vehicle prior to returning to the level to which it was prior to the rental. A refueling fee of $50 will be charged if it is not refueled.

SLINGSHOT RENTAL GIFT VOUCHER POLICY

  • Vouchers do not expire.  There are no service fees for unused vouchers.
  • The paid value of the voucher will never expire.  The promotional value is good for one year from the date of purchase.  After a one-year promotional period, you will be required to call our office to schedule a date.  We will apply the paid value toward any of our current programs.
  • Vouchers that are lost or stolen will be replaced for the original purchase price with valid proof of purchase.
  • Purchasers of retail-priced Slingshot Gift Vouchers may request a refund less a $50 administration fee within 30 days of the purchase date, after 30 days Slingshot Gift Vouchers are not refundable.
  • Gift Vouchers purchased at a discounted price are not refundable.

HOW MANY KARTS ARE IN THE RACE?

  • A full field of karts is 14.

DO I NEED KART RACING EXPERIENCE?

  • No, we will teach you what you need to know for you to be safe and compete in our races.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?

  • We supply everything. Equally, prepared 390cc Pro Karts, full mechanical support, track support, lap time printouts, trophies and all service items – the driver simply shows up and races against other drivers in identical equipment.

HOW FAST ARE THE KARTS?

  • You will reach top speeds of around 50 mph at only 1 inch off the ground.

RACE PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 16 years old with a valid driver’s license or 14 years old with successful completion of Intro To Team ProKart Racing. Minimum Height 5’0″ – Minimum Weight 100lbs. 
Max Height 6’3″ – Max Weight 260lbs. 
Note: For participants from 14 to 17 years you must have a waiver signed by both parents. If only one parent is coming to the racetrack, the parent not attending must sign the form and have their signature notarized. Please click the following link, Minor Waiver, to review the waiver and if using this form please print in color so the red text is red. We must receive this waiver on the day of the event.

RACING GEAR REQUIRED TO COMPLETE:

  • Mandatory gear: M2015 Helmet, Neck Collars, Karting Suit, Racing Gloves.
But not to worry we have helmets, neck collars, and karting suits available to rent at a flat fee of $25. You are required to provide your own gloves or we have them available for purchase at the track. A valid driver’s license is required to be placed on hold until all rental gear is returned.

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING?

  •  Friends, family, and cameras are welcome.
  •  We recommend that you bring your own water or sports drinks. It is important to stay well hydrated in any kind of weather. We will also have water for sale on site.
  •  Bring lunch, as we cannot guarantee the Pocono Raceway food concession will be open.
  •  We provide chairs and a canopy for participants, although if you are bringing guests we suggest they bring their own lawn chairs.
  •  No open alcoholic beverages are allowed prior to the completion of the race.
  •  We suggest you dress for the weather and bring rain gear, which may be worn, over your racing gear in case of rain.

CAN I SIGN UP ALONE?

  • Yes, when you enter an event as a single driver you will be placed on a team with other drivers who have signed up individually.

KART TO KART CONTACT

  • Deliberately spinning, hitting, or blocking another kart is strictly forbidden and carries a penalty at the discretion of the race director or head flagman. Repeated offenses may lead to your day ending early.

DAMAGE LIABILITY

  • You are not responsible for damage to the karts.

KART POLICIES

RESCHEDULE AND SUBSTITUTIONS POLICY

RAIN POLICY

  • Our kart racing events will run rain or shine, providing there is adequate visibility and track officials deem conditions suitable and safe for racing. You must register in person, no matter what the weather looks like at your present location or at Pocono Raceway. Please show up or you will be considered a no-show cancellation and forfeit your tuition. In the case that we cancel your session, you will be provided a rain check good for one year from that date to complete your program. There are no refunds.
WHO CAN SIGN UP FOR THIS PROGRAM?
  • You must have completed a 10 Mile or longer Stock Car Drive Experience with Stock Car Racing Experience at Pocono Raceway within 3 years and be at least 25 years old with a valid driver’s license. If you completed a Stock Car Driving Experience with us 3+ years ago, you must re-complete at least a 10-Mile Stock Car Drive Experience(provided at a discounted rate of $289) prior to being eligible for this program. If you would like to do a Stock Car Drive program with us in the morning and drive your own car in the afternoon, as a special incentive we are offering over a 10% discount off the 10-Mile & 20 Mile Drive price when purchased together.
WHAT TYPES OF CARS CAN BE USED?
  • Any type of gasoline engine sports car or high performance touring car can be used, as long as it has H Speed Rated or higher tires. Electric and Hybrid motor vehicles are not eligible(ie: Tesla). Only certain SUV’s or Trucks will qualify- GMC Cyclone, Porsche Cayenne or Ford Lightning etc . Convertibles can not be used unless they have an approved type of roll over protection, please call Steve Fox at 877-786-2522 ext.222 to confirm if your convertible is applicable. It will also need to have a current registration, state inspection and insurance. Keep in mind that most of this program will be run at much higher speeds than you see on the highway, so you and the car you choose along with all of its components will need to be up to the task. All cars must pass an in-depth, detailed safety and technical inspection before being allowed on the racetrack. HOW FAST WILL I GET TO GO?
  • While there is no set max speed, how fast you go usually depends on you, your car and your driving abilities. You should realize that higher speeds will come with knowledge and experience. The first lap of each session will be under a Yellow Flag. We ask that you limit your speed to 70 MPH until the Green Flag is thrown. Under Green Flag conditions we encourage you to safely and smoothly explore the limits of your car and your skills while staying at your comfort level. Remember this is NOT a race and in the interest of safety we will slow drivers who are demonstrating unsafe and/or irresponsible driving.
HOW MUCH TRACK TIME WILL I GET?
  • Two 15 minute sessions on track with coaching from your Instructor between.
HOW SAFE IS THIS PROGRAM, I HAVE AN EXPENSIVE CAR?
  • Very safe, but with any racetrack activity there are inherent risks. Most of the cars used are high dollar, high-end sports and touring cars that have owners who just want a fun, safe place to open them up. Since 2009 we have run this program with zero reportable incidents.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME?
  • You will need a high quality SA rated Auto Racing helmet, preferably full face, SA 2010 designation or newer. If you do not have your own helmet you may rent one for $25. We also suggest anti-glare sunglasses. You will need to wear a long sleeve shirt and long pants while on-track. Wear narrow lightweight closed shoes with non-slip soles. Food and drinks are available for sale at the track; you may also bring your own.
CAN I BRING FRIENDS AND FAMILY?

CAN I GET MY CAR TECH’D AT THE TRACK?
  • No. You will need to get your car tech’d in advance. You will be required to hand-in your completed tech form at registration on the day of the event. In your Booking Confirmation email a link to the Tech Form will be included. If you can not run your session due to your car not passing Tech or not having a completed Tech form there will be no refund of any fees paid.
DO YOU OFFER PHOTOGRAPHY OF ME WHILE I AM ON TRACK?
  • We do. Our Photography Staff will talk with you during your class to confirm if you’d like photographs taken.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CRASH MY CAR?
  • You will need to sign a release and waiver of liability, hold harmless agreement at check-in. We are not responsible for any damage to you or your car regardless of whether this damage was caused by yourself in a single vehicle incident or by another driver in a multi vehicle incident. We are also not responsible for damage to your car for any reason. Check with your Insurance Company to see the limits of your coverage. Some companies might recognize this as Driver Training; most companies will not cover anything that takes place on a racetrack. Any damage to the Pocono Raceway facility will be the responsibility of the individual causing this damage during the course of this event.
WHAT TIME DO I NEED TO BE THERE?
  • Car and driver arrival time is 2:00 PM.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
  • We will make every effort to run your experience. You must register in person, no matter what the weather looks like at your present location or at Pocono Raceway. We need a dry racetrack; we cannot run in the rain or with a wet race track. If we need to postpone your session because of the weather we will issue you a Rain Check which will allow you to choose another date to return at your convenience and complete your experience.
WHAT IS THE DAY’S ITINERARY?
  • You will arrive at the track at 2:00 pm where car check-in and preparation begins. Your Driver’s Meeting will begin at 2:30 pm where all the rules of the program are outlined and explained. Your Instructor will pick up the detailed instructions in the classroom where the Stock Car Drive Experience left off. At 3:10 pm everyone will bring their cars up to pit lane and get ready to experience driving your sports car at top speeds through the three different corners and three long straights that make Pocono “The Tricky Triangle”. At approximately 3:30 pm the first group will hit the racetrack for their first of two 15 minute sessions, with on-track activity finished by 5:00 pm.
CAN I TAKE SOMEONE IN THE CAR WITH ME?
  • No, you cannot. Our Insurance regulations will only allow the driver alone or the driver with one of our Instructors in the car for this program.
CAN I SHARE MY CAR?
  • Yes, you can. We run a total of four 15 minute sessions so you will each do two 15 minute sessions.
CAN I BUY GAS AT THE TRACK?
  • Yes! Pocono Raceway sells GT-100 if you would like to purchase fuel at the track please arrive one hour early. Fuel can only be purchased by credit card or you can purchase a Sunoco card from the track.
WHAT ARE THE DATES I CAN SIGN UP FOR?
  • 2023 Season Dates: May 15th, June 16th, July 31st, September 27th, & October 2nd
WHAT DOES IT COST?
  • The cost for this program is $329. With a prerequisite of a 10-Mile or Longer StockCar Driving Experience.

CAN I UPGRADE/EXCHANGE MY GIFT VOUCHER?

  • Yes, all of our Gift Vouchers may be treated like a Gift Certificate and can be applied towards any other experiences or have options added to them. You may upgrade/exchange your gift voucher for any of our experiences by calling our office with your voucher code. Our customer service team will assist you to upgrade/exchange your experience for another. Call 877 786 2522.

DO I NEED TO PICK A DATE WHEN I PURCHASE?

  • No, You can purchase a gift voucher for that special someone and let them choose the date after receiving the voucher.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THE GIFT VOUCHER AFTER PURCHASING ONLINE?

  • A few minutes after you purchase a gift voucher, you will receive the gift voucher by email. The Gift Voucher can be printed to present to the recipient.  If you have not received your gift voucher by email, please check your SPAM box. You can also contact us and we will gladly resend your gift voucher. Click here if you wish to contact us . Please be sure to mention your date of purchase.
  • If you ordered apparel, (i.e. Winner Circle Package, Gloves, Hoodies, T-Shirts), items will be shipped by the next business day in a plain non-descriptive envelope from 105 WT Family Blvd Blakeslee, PA 18610. Delivery time is approximately 3-5 days, USPS First Class Mail, please call or email for additional shipping options.

HOW DO I REDEEM A GIFT VOUCHER?

  •  Gift vouchers only need to be redeemed when the recipient is ready to book their date.  Go to the web address printed on the voucher, input your voucher number, you will be presented with available dates and you are on your way to to completing your booking. Once submitted you will receive a confirmation by email. You can also click here to redeem your voucher.

HOW LONG ARE GIFT VOUCHERS VALID?

  • Gift Vouchers do not expire.
  • There are no service fees for unused balances.
  • Gift Vouchers may be redeemed for the experience described on your gift voucher for a 12-month period following the date of purchase. After the 12-month period specified above, the gift voucher may be redeemed by applying the original purchase price of the voucher toward the current purchase price of any of our available experiences. The original purchase price can be found on the receipt that was provided at the time of purchase. After 12 months you will be required to pay the difference between the purchase price and the current price of the experience. Gift Vouchers may be upgraded to an experience of greater value and the balance will be payable at the time of redemption.
  • Gift Vouchers that are lost or stolen will be replaced only for the original purchase price or balance remaining on the Gift Voucher, with valid proof of purchase (receipt that is sent with Gift Voucher or other documentation acceptable to StockCar Racing Experience).

WHAT ARE THE PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS; DO I NEED PRIOR RACING EXPERIENCE?

  • No, you do not need prior racing experience to participate in our driving programs, only a valid Driver’s License. We offer both Manual and Automatic Transmission stock cars.
  • Our participants range in age from 14 to 90. Many are NASCAR Fans, people that like to drive fast or people that seek a little thrill in their lives.
  • Age Requirements.
    • To participate in our driving program, you must be 18 years of age and have a valid drivers license.
    • To participate in our ride program, you must be 14 years of age and have both parents present.
    • (Under 18 (14-17) both parents must sign a minor waiver/release form. If only one parent is coming to the racetrack, the other must sign the form and have their signature notarized. Please make sure to print the form on a color printer. The red text must be in red on the notarized waiver.
  • Size Requirements. All participants must be in relative good health and able to enter and exit the car on their own through a window opening
    • 15″ high x 30″ wide and 36″ off the ground.
    • Size limitations may apply:
      • Drivers Only: Maximum Height 6’5″ – Minimum Height 5’0 / Weight 300 lbs.
      • Ride Alongs Only: Maximum Height 6’4″ / Weight 300 lbs. (No minimum Height)
      • If you’re over the limits of the size requirements, please email ian@877stockcar.com, as some participants over the limits can fit.
  • There will be no refund due to a student’s inability to fit in the race car unless you have received written pre-authorization.
  • The majority of our stock cars are equipped with Manual transmissions. We also have several stock cars equipped with Automatic transmissions.

ARE GIFT VOUCHERS REFUNDABLE?

  • Yes, only in certain instances. Purchasers of retail priced Gift Vouchers may request a refund less 5% within 30 days of the purchase date, after 30 days Gift Vouchers are not refundable.
  • Gift Vouchers purchased at a discounted price are not refundable.
  • Once a date is reserved, there are no refunds or cancellations.

GIFT VOUCHER POLICY:

  • Vouchers do not expire. There are no service fees for unused vouchers. The paid value of the voucher will never expire. The promotional value is good for one year from the date of purchase. After a one year promotional period, you will be required to call our office to schedule a date. We will apply the paid value toward any of our current programs. Vouchers that are lost or stolen will be replaced for the original purchase price with valid proof of purchase.

REFUND POLICY:

  • Items purchased with a promotion code or any type of discount are non-refundable. If you purchase a Gift voucher at retail price you will receive a refund for the ride/drive program purchased, less a 5% administration fee within 30 days of the purchase date. After 30 days the voucher is non-refundable. Monetary gift vouchers are non-refundable. Bookings are required for all programs, once a booking is made it is non-refundable.

BOOKING/RESCHEDULING POLICY: 

  • No refund will be provided for cancellations or in case of no-show.
  • A rescheduling fee of $75 for Drives and $35 for Rides applies for date changes made more than 30 days in advance.
  • 50% of your tuition will be forfeited for date changes made within 30 days of your scheduled date. The remaining 50% of your tuition will be held on account to be used towards an experience of the same or higher value than the original.

RAIN POLICY?

  • Bookings are not refundable due to inclement weather postponement. Inclement weather may cause our decision for you to reschedule to a new date. We will make every effort to run all scheduled sessions. We will run on a delay if possible. Unless you have received notification of postponement from us by email or phone call please arrive as scheduled or you will be considered a no-show. In the event that we have to postpone due to weather, your booking will be Rain Checked and placed on hold and you will have one year from your originally booked date to reschedule and complete your experience. Refunds will not be issued. StockCar Racing Experience is not responsible for any travel expenses incurred by changes beyond our control. This is an outdoor event and Mother Nature is completely out of everyone’s control, so please keep that in mind when planning your day with us.
    • How/when would I be notified?
      You will be notified either in person, by email, or by phone call as soon as our decision is made to postpone/Rain Check your experience. Postponement decisions are often made in real time based on actual weather conditions. We try to make decisions before you arrive, but the need to postpone may happen at the track in person.

 PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE:

  • By participating in our experiences you give and grant unto StockCar Racing Experience, and its affiliates, the rights to the use of your name, likeness, voice and/or photographs taken at StockCar Racing Experience, including, but not limited to television and radio broadcasts, film productions, videotape reproductions and the like, and you hereby relinquish all rights therefore for these purposes.

DATES:

  • Dates are subject to change without notice. StockCar Racing Experience is not responsible for any travel expenses incurred by changes beyond our control.

SHIPPING:

  • Orders of apparel and gloves will be shipped within 2 business days after receipt of your order.  Standard shipping includes First Class USPS. You may request a tracking number by emailing us at info@877stockcar.com.
  • If this is a surprise gift; Provide only your name and address for a Gift Voucher order and provide your name and address as the customer of a booking/reservation. Do not provide the recipients name in any location other than as a participant of a booking.

GIFT SHOP – APPAREL – RETURNS – EXCHANGES:

  • Items in unopened new condition may be exchanged in person for different size/color at no charge. To exchange an item by mail please mail back the item with your exchange request. All shipping costs will be at your expense.
  • You may request a return of unopened, unused, in new condition items up to 30 days from the date of purchase to receive a refund less Shipping & Handling costs. *This policy pertains only to apparel items such as hats & t-shirts. It does not apply to Experience Gift Vouchers or Bookings.
  • Your privacy is very important to us, any information provided through our shop.877stockcar.com Gift Shop will only be used internally to provide your order. We do not rent or sell any of your information to Third-Parties.

CODE OF CONDUCT:

  • Damages and incidentals occurred in scenarios of reckless conduct or negligence are the responsibility of the participant per the StockCar Racing Experience/SRE Schools,Inc. acceptance of release and waiver of liability agreement forms that are required to be completed before program participation.
  • Every participant must follow safety procedures determined by StockCar Racing Experience/SRE Schools,Inc.. StockCar Racing Experience/SRE Schools,Inc. reserves the right to interject or revoke a participant’s experience if all safety conditions are not met.
  • A minimum speed must be obtained to safely conduct our Drive experiences, if that minimum speed cannot be obtained by the participant we reserve the right to interject or revoke a participant’s Drive experience at our discretion.
  • In the event that we revoke a participant’s experience due to safety concerns there will be no refunds or credits.

VIDEO POLICY:

SRE Schools, Inc. makes no guarantee that your In-Car Video will record. In the case of a Video failure where it was pre-purchased you will be refunded fully for the Video cost. Unrecorded or corrupted videos will not equate to a free drive.

PRIVACY POLICY:

Wherever SRE collects personal information we make an effort to include a link to this Privacy Policy. We will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you (personal information) or allows us to contact you. The personal information we collect may include your name, title, company or organization name, e-mail address, phone number, work or home address and credit card information.

We may request your e-mail address or mailing address for the purposes of conducting a contest or to provide additional services (for example, subscriptions to announcement lists or information about SRE). Participation in contests or other promotions on the SRE web site is completely voluntary and you have a choice whether or not to disclose personal information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes.

If you are purchasing something on the SRE web site, we need to know your name, e-mail address, mailing address, credit card number and expiration date. This allows us to process and fulfill your order and to notify you of your order status. Credit card and e-mail information will not be shared or sold to third parties for any purpose except as provided in this Privacy Policy without your express permission.

We may from time to time send e-mail announcing new products and services. If you choose to supply your postal address in an online form, you may receive postal mailings from SRE or third party companies.
